A group of girls from Ukraine arrive in a new and totally different place. Warsaw is vast with bustling streets, and their tenement house is sketchy.

The girls start looking for work. Uljana and Olya go to the "bazaar" in Piaseczno. Polina searches online. Swieta gets ready to work at a law firm.

When Olya is hit by a car in a side street, two police officers drive her home. However, their visit to the girls' place lasts longer than expected.

Polina agrees to her boss's proposal that she manage her colleagues' work. Uljana gets a violin from the professor. Olya starts working for Nowakowa.

Olya is upset because she thinks Nowakowa fired her. Swieta is petrified at the prospect of a banquet where she is due to meet her attorney, Piotr.

Swieta visits Piotr. They both struggle to pretend that nothing happened. Piotr decides to take the next step, but he goes one step too far...

The professor decides to teach Uljana to play the violin. Consequently, someone new is needed to run the house. Igor comes to Warsaw.

Igor discovers that his Olya is going out with Tomek, so he decides to get revenge. Desperate to remedy the situation, the girls ask Henryk for help.

Swieta tells Piotr they can't be together. Disappointed and unable to come to terms with this decision, he decides to fight for her.

Henryk asks Olya to clean his friend's place in Ząbki. However, neither Tomek nor Olya know whose home they're about to enter.

Swieta, accompanied by Piotr, goes to Ukraine to visit her daughter, who is unwell. Polina starts another business. Nowakowa suddenly passes out.

Nowakowa leaves the hospital. She's accompanied by Olya, who tries to take care of her like her own grandmother and prove she can do more than clean.

Uljana continues her lessons with the professor, who's becoming increasingly worried. His beloved daughter-in-law knows the reason for his mood.
