Late-middle-aged Dennis wakes up to discover Zach, an attractive young man in his bed. Is Zach just a one-night stand, or is it more than that? In the opening episode of "How It All Began," watch as Zach and Dennis get to know each other the morning after and test the waters.

Zach and Dennis made plans to see "Outside Mullingar," but Zach screwed it up. They try again when Dennis gets the couple tickets to see Arthur Miller's iconic "Death of Salesman." But once again, things don't turn out as planned - but maybe better.

After an unexpectedly interesting night at the theatre, Dennis wakes up to try to sort things out with Zach, but a surprise may ruin everything.

In Episode 4, Dennis was surprised to get a phone call from his ex-, Luke, wanting to meet for dinner. On the date of, Dennis confides in Miles, his barber/therapist, who does his best to make Dennis look dapper.

Dennis picks Zach up at the hospital after a violent shakeup. Zach asks to spend the night at Dennis' flat, but they walk in to find another surprise at home waiting for them.

A few days later, while Zach recuperates at Dennis's house, Luke and Dennis finally have their dinner together; but things don't work out quite as Luke had hoped (and it doesn't help that uninvited guests show up).
