This season focuses on Akari Ozora, a first year at Starlight Academy who seeks to become a top idol like her upperclassman, Ichigo Hoshimiya.

The season follows the idols Akari Ozora, Sumire Hikami, and Hinaki Shinjo as they take their idol unit, Luminas, on a tour across Japan.
