After a violent incident, acting boss Kiriei advises Kataoka to lay low, arranging a hot spring trip and assigning loyal Odajima to accompany him. But this journey unveils more than their twisted fate—Odajima carries Kiriei’s ruthless order to kill.

Odajima's closest brother, Asahi, was killed in a gunfight, and Odajima believes Kataoka is deeply tied to that death. Haunted by Asahi’s final words, Odajima leads Kataoka to a remote island where the mystery draws closer.

Odajima takes Kataoka to Kojima and tells him the shocking truth at the grave of his best friend Asahi. Meanwhile, Kirii is fed up with Odajima's inaction and is planning to send in a new assassin.

On their way back from the island, Kataoka jokingly suggests marriage, leaving Odajima flustered. But soon after disembarking, Kataoka is suddenly stabbed by a stranger and rushed to the hospital. As Odajima struggles between Kataoka’s teasing affection and Kirii’s command to kill him, news arrives that Kirii’s father, the gang’s leader, has passed away. The two return for the funeral, where all the syndicate’s executives gather, and the name of the new successor is about to be revealed.

Just as the new gang successor is about to be announced, a hitman suddenly appears and opens fire on Kataoka. In the chaos, Odajima throws himself forward to shield him, but to his shock, Kataoka turns around to protect Odajima instead — taking the bullet himself rather than let his beloved be hurt. As Kataoka collapses and loses consciousness, he kisses Odajima, sealing their bond in that fleeting, heartbreaking moment.

Kataoka’s surgery is a success, and Odajima decides to leave the organization for good. Carrying both evidence and money, he returns to the estate to confess everything to Kirii. Yet, torn between his growing feelings for Kataoka and his long-held vow to avenge Asahi, Odajima finds himself caught in a painful dilemma. As their journey nears its end, what choice will Odajima make?
