After finishing a fashion shoot, Shirasaki visits Hayama’s apartment, where they embrace, kiss, and reaffirm their love. Soon, they are set to reunite on the special drama Daytime Dream. Will Shirasaki and Hayama, like their characters, also face conflicts and trials ahead?

Hayama and Shirasaki share a kiss in the apartment hallway, only to be caught by Hayama’s manager. Back at the agency, the manager commands Hayama to break up with Shirasaki to prevent scandal from destroying their careers. Later, during the filming of a breakup scene, Hayama strays from the script and instinctively embraces Shirasaki.

After overcoming a breakup crisis, Hayama and Shirasaki decide to move in together and start a new chapter. As Shirasaki auditions for the stage play Rain and Repentance, he meets the mysterious actor Kuroki, unaware that Hayama is secretly auditioning for the same role…

At the audition, the production team explains the characters’ backstories to Hayama and Shirasaki. Both give their all in the performance, earning high praise from the director. The tension between them grows increasingly delicate. To face the audition fairly, Shirasaki suggests they keep some distance, leading to “living separately under one roof.” Watching Shirasaki practice, Hayama admits that he doesn’t want to lose to him .
