Peter de Beer, an ex colleague of detective Jurriaan de Cock gets murdered with a knife. This happens while he driving in his car with Michelle, his 11 year old daughter. The killer has escaped, but Michelle survives without serious injury. Michelle is the prime witness of the murder and De Cock needs to protect her.
