In a community devastated by addiction, the Sheriff and Jail Administrator are offering inmates an unprecedented three-month drug rehab programme.

It’s week one, and the participants face the harsh reality of this emotionally and physically gruelling drug rehab programme.

Bradley and Camron appeal their expulsion from the programme. Racial tensions between roommates Tonya and Tammy boil over.

In week four, the trustees reckon with their traumas and triggers. Jayme shares her story, inspiring others to do the same. Steven's new anger management skills are tested while Camron's progress is derailed after learning his brother has been arrested.

As the program crosses the halfway mark, the trustees begin losing focus, and Lynette reaches a breaking point. The jail staff struggles to get the trustees back on track after contraband is discovered and a romantic relationship comes to light.
