From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Annabella Piugattuk (born December 19, 1982 in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada) is a Canadian Inuit actress, notable for her role in The Snow Walker. Piugattuk was raised in Igloolik, a village with a population of 1286 in the Nunavut territory of Canada. Since starring in The Snow Walker she has moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. She was approached by a casting agent about auditioning for The Snow Walker while at a dance with some friends in Igloolik.
