Biography

Minami Kitamura is a Japanese illustrator, animator, and visual artist. She is originally from Heda Village, Shizuoka Prefecture (now Numazu City) and graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Art and Design. She is known for her pop-inspired style and multidisciplinary approach, spanning editorial illustration, music video direction, and television animation. Kitamura has also published several illustrated books.
