Paul Black, born November 4, 1996, in Glasgow, is a Scottish writer, director, and comedian known for his sharp, character-driven short-form comedy sketches. He first gained attention in 2017 after posting a series of relatable and often surreal videos on Twitter, which quickly earned him a dedicated following. In 2019, he was commissioned by BBC Scotland to create the sketch-show pilot Pity Party, which he wrote and directed.
