Bastián Gatica, known artistically as Kjander, is an experimental musician from Chile. Influenced by ambient, noise, and classical music, he often constructs his tracks through improvisation and intuitive exploration. His debut album, Phantasmata, released in March 2025, is a fully digital work created without acoustic instruments, using live coding techniques. The album’s title references the ancient concept of phantasmata, phantom entities once believed to cause mental disturbances.
