David Barton is a fitness visionary known for his unique gym concepts and his impact on the fitness industry, particularly in New York City. He founded David Barton Gym, TMPL, and most recently, Gym U, each known for its distinctive design and energetic atmosphere. Barton is often credited with making working out cool and creating gyms that blur the lines between fitness and nightlife. He had a small part as the hunky Boy in Chains at the pageant in the film "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar."
