J.M. Frey is an actor, voice actor, lauded science fiction author, and a pop culture scholar. She has appeared in podcasts, documentaries, and on radio and television to discuss all things geeky through the lens of academia. Born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, J.M. spent her childhood involved in community theatre and musicals, and eventually went to Brock University for theatre.
