Alex is a Latina writer/director and journalist published in The Washington Post, HuffPost, The Cut, POPSUGAR, and more. Her narrative short film BAD SURVIVOR, a dark comedy plucked from her first twenty four hours in cancer remission as a teenager, celebrated it's LA Premiere at Slamdance Film Festival (2025), and has been an Official Selection at The Washington DC International Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, and more.
