Biography

Abdelrahman Dnewar is an Egyptian filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany. His short film My Brother, My Brother received international acclaim, including a Jury Special Mention at Clermont-Ferrand and the Golden Gate Award in San Francisco. It has screened at more than forty festivals, is nominated for Best Animation at the AMAA, and is currently streaming on ARTE. Abdelrahman began his career as a duo with his twin brother Saad, who passed away at the young age of 29.
