Biography

Letícia Fernandes, a graduate student in Audiovisual, began her career adapting Brazilian literary works for school theater, including Romanceiro da Inconfidência by Cecília Meireles, a play she wrote and directed in 2019. At university, she was the screenwriter and sound director for the short film O Que Aconteceu Ontem? (2024). Her most recent works include the short O Novo Corpo (2025), which was showcased in October at the Noves Visions - Petit Format section of the Sitges Film Festival, and the feature film O Que Sobrou do Céu, shot in August in Rio de Janeiro, where she served as Executive Production and Script Supervisor Assistant.
