Biography

Sidney Ken is an award-winning Cambodian director and commercial colorist based in Phnom Penh. Sidney’s body of work primarily centers on documentaries that examine social change, culture, and environmental issues, alongside commercially branded documentaries and digital content. His acclaimed short documentary “Respoken” (2024), co-directed with Thai Phirun Hul, explores the revival of Lakhon Niyeay, Cambodia’s spoken theater tradition, through the eyes of a small group of passionate artists.
