Biography

Tomás Travelho grew up in Mira, Coimbra, in the center of Portugal, where he still resides. During his childhood, he developed a passion for cinema while watching Charlie Chaplin movies, which also fostered his ability to tell stories visually. He moved to Covilhã at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a crew member on several university short films, serving mostly as a cinematographer for documentary shorts.
