Biography

Nikolay Todorov is a Bulgarian director, animator, and artist. Nikolay Todorov was born on February 18, 1952, in Sofia. In 1972, he graduated from the Art High School in Sofia. In 1978, he graduated in animation cinema from VGIK in Moscow, in the class of Ivan Petrovich Ivanov-Vano, who is considered the father of Russian animation. From 1979 to 1987, he worked at the Sofia Animation Film Studio as a director, production designer, animator, and screenwriter.
