Biography

Alejandro Bonilla Jr. is a Black and Afro-Latino artist from The Bronx, New York, whose father, a painter who immigrated from Honduras , inspired him to pursue art. He attended The High School of Art and Design, where he excelled in Advanced Placement Illustration and earned scholarships to attend the Arts Student League and the School of Visual Arts. He furthered his education at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he earned his BFA in Illustration. Alejandro's art reflects his culture and heritage.
