Biography

Adrien Dagory, born January 7, 1922 in Vanves (France) and died December 31, 2026 in Narbonne (France), was a French grimeur and mountaineer. In 1952, he successfully climbed the west face of Les Drus, which many thought impossible with intensive use of artificial climbing, with the Bleausards team of which he was a member: Guido Magnone, Lucien Bérardini, Adrien Dagory and Marcel Wool. In 1954 he was part of a French expedition to the south face of Aconcagua, a 6,962 meter high summit located in Argentina.
