Thomas was born on October 31, 1992, in Beaumont, Texas to a father who works as a DJ. He was surrounded by music from multiple genres as a child due to his father's career. As a result, he grew up listening to a wide range of artists such as Judas Priest, Prince, Kraftwerk, and Marvin Gaye.
