Biography

Ghazal Yousefi, غزل یوسفی, (born in 1993 in Iran) is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor based in Los Angeles, California. She began her academic journey at Tehran's Soore University in 2012, where she earned a degree in film editing. After graduating, Yousefi worked for four years editing independent short films, including "29" (2018) and "Voodoo" (2019), as well as various film teasers in Tehran, until 2021. In 2021, after receiving a scholarship, Yousefi pursued an MFA in Film at Syracuse University and graduated in 2024.
