Biography

Siarhei Kavaliou is a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker, creator and co-founder of the MediaHUB Batumi production studio, initiator of Belarusian Archive of Private Films. Born in Babruysk, Belarus in 1989. He graduated from a music school in the piano class. He received a higher education at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics , majoring in engineer-economist, 2007-2012. From 2011 to 2020, he cooperated with the media: Belsat TV, ARTE, Sky News, ARD, MDR, INTER, TV Rain, The Gurdian, Current Time, NY Times.
