Biography

Lauren is an 8-time Southeast Emmy winning filmmaker, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia. She is a Director, Producer, and Actress known for Ugly Sweater (2024), Blossoming (2022), The Third Saturday in October (2022), and It's a Southern Thing (2017). She is the co-founder of Purple Magnet Productions. Lauren was born and raised in Webster, Texas by her parents, Deborah and Robert Musgrove, both with careers at NASA.
