Shalini Sood, born in Washington D.C., USA and raised in Maryland, she is an actress, model, Engineer and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as the first ever American born to win a title for India in 2016 in New Delhi, India. Along with her crown as MIBQ Mrs. India, she won the title for Most Photogenic. Following the pageant in India, she was crowned (winner), Mrs. India United Nations International in 2017.
