Biography

Wolfgang Purkhauser is a film editor from Germany. After founding the production company “Clix GmbH” and working with it on various short and commercial formats as a producer, director and editor, he started studying editing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2017. 2019 his first feature length documentary film SOMMERKRIEG (SUMMERWAR) about two kids attending a ukrainian summercamp won multiple awards and was screened of HOT DOCS, IDFA, Max Ophüls Preis and Deutscher Dokumentarfilmpreis.
