Hoàng Hiệp (real name Lưu Trần Nghiệp, b. 1 October, 1931 in An Giang province - 9 January 2013) was a Vietnamese songwriter and composer, one of the best known musicians of Vietnamese revolutionary music ("Red Music" or Nhạc đỏ). His songs frequently reflect upon changes within the Vietnamese as a people during 20th century, mixing romantic longing with heroic patriotism.
