Astrid Arak (Astrid Koik) was born in Tallinn, Republic of Estonia. Estonian Soviet dancer, actress. Member of the Estonian Theatre Society (1956). Studied at the 4th Tallinn Secondary School and dance studios of Tamara Beck and others. From 1945 to 1947 she studied at the drama studio of the Vanemuine Theatre. From 1944 to 1949 - dancer in the troupe of the Vanemuine Theatre. From 1949 to 1957 - soloist of the operetta of the Estonian Opera and Ballet Theatre.
