Biography

Rose Chang was born in Tamsui, Taiwan, and her family immigrated to Los Angeles, California in 1999. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production and Critical Studies in 2016 from UC, Santa Cruz. There, she wrote her dissertation “Madame Butterflies and Dragon Ladies: Asian American Female Representation” and, in complement, directed her thesis short film, Hard-Boiled Mask and the Art of Blossoming (2016).
