Biography

Priyankar is a Calcutta based screenwriter, filmmaker and a playwright. He has been interested in different forms of art from an early age but films have stayed with him since he was thirteen. Majority of Priyankar's independent works explore coming-of-age stories of characters separated, by circumstances, from their family, often explored through a satirical lens, During his time at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned his MFA in Screenwriting, he worked closely with Warner Bros., executives Mark Wolper and Kevin Nicklaus of L.A.
