Biography

Scorpio was born Wilbur James Weiss Jr. on November 1, 1952 in Trenton, New Jersey. The oldest in a family of four children, Weiss Jr. grew up in a country trailer park. Wilbur left home at age eighteen and worked in a factory in Washington, D.C. as well as did sales in Miami, Florida, skated in a roller derby in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and tried modelling in New York before deciding to become a male stripper. Weiss Jr. first started stripping in straight clubs in New Jersey prior to dancing in gay bars and branching out to pose for magazine shoots.
