Biography

Alexandra Pianelli is a graduate of the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg. She focuses her practice on the notions of work and play, likes the do-it-yourself and defines herself as a Swiss Army knife. Her work is based on a quest for the other. The one we don't see even if we live next door. She starts with a documentary approach in which reality joins fiction.
