Biography

Scott Hanson was one of probably just a dozen babies born to mothers in Soldier, Iowa in 1961. The city leaders, staring down the double barrel of Scott's intellect and talent, quickly realized his educational requirements would demand the cooperation of neighboring Moorhead, Iowa. Thus the consolidated East Monona Community School District was formed with just 3 years to spare. As one of only twenty three students in his grade, Scott met the rigorously enforced "warm body" requirement of the Act Club and took to the stage for school productions.
