Biography

Jiajie Yu (1989) is a Taiwanese/Spanish director, screenwriter and producer from Barcelona. His short films have been selected in more than 100 national and international festivals. Nominated twice to the Goya Awards, the first time as director and screenwriter of the short film Xiao Xian (2020) and the second time as producer of the short film Chaval (2023). Several of his works have achieved the Vimeo Staff Pick seal and have been shared on platforms such as NOWNESS, Booooooom, Directors Notes....
