Hipolito Colomb
Hipolito (or Hypólite) Collomb was a Portuguese caricaturist, theater set designer and comic artist. He was one of regular contributors to magazines like Novidades, República, Os Ridículos and O Século Cómico, around the 1910s. One of his comics is titled 'A Derrota dos Alemães'. In the 1910s, after the Republic was declared in Portugal, he was the author of a famous, and now very scarce, set of political postcards entitled The Seven Deadly Sins, portraing Portuguese republican politicians.
