Biography

Paul Joseph Reinmann (1910-1988) was a German-born American comics artist, active during both the "Golden" and the "Silver" ages of comic books. He entered comics in the 1940s and worked on many early superheroes for MLJ Comics (Black Hood, the Hangman and the Wizard), and for All-American Publications (which later merged into DC Comics) working on such characters as the Golden Age Green Lantern, Wildcat, The Atom, Starman and Wonder Woman. Then he drew for many of the religious, war, western and mystery titles of Stan Lee's Atlas Comics line.
