Biography

Mara Adina is a creative producer and co-founder of Vernon Films where her primary focus is to push the boundaries of hybrid filmmaking and collaborate with creative voices who seek to devise new ways of arriving at story. She produced "Counterpart", the first English-language film directed by two time BAFTA winning Adrian Sitaru which opened at Clermont Ferrand International Film Festival 2014. Mara produced Ilinca Calugareanu's debut feature documentary "Chuck Norris vs Communism" which premiered in competition at Sundance 2015.
