Biography

Roy has an exuberant family film heritage spanning seven decades. As a youngster he followed his father and dabbled in front of camera performances before undergoing formal training at Rank Film Laboratories at Denham. From here successfully moving into TV post-production, editing both in London and Toronto, principally with CBC LE programmes, in the 70s and 80s. He went on to set up and run many of Soho's leading post-production houses. He has been married to TV Producer Nickie Stevens since 1987. They have three children, all of whom have successful careers in television, James in TV and movie SFX post-production, Clementine in ad agency TV...
