Jarrad Wright grew up in Tweed Heads on New South Wales' North Coast. In The Big Lez Show Documentary, Wright reveals the first idea of Big Lez as a 'Dragonball Z' type character when he lived on Kingdom Cum. He and Izak came up with his name unanimously based on his super strength and atire. It was from this that Jarrad and his friends started creating comics of Lez and other characters. During 2008, then Prime Minister of Australia Kevin Rudd introduced free laptops to the majority of high schools in Australia.
