Honored Artist of the RSFSR (05/29/1987). People's Artist of Russia (01/15/2001). While still a high school student, he studied in the studio at the Novosibirsk Youth Theater. In 1976 he graduated from the Higher Theater School. Schukina (course of Yu.V. Katina-Yartsev). Since 1976, he has been an actor in the Satire Theater. In the movie is shot quite rarely.
