Biography

Tyyne Elina Haarla (o.s. Kosunen, November 2, 1892 Varkaus - November 18, 1968 Helsinki) was a Finnish actor. Haarla graduated from the Theater School in 1910 and was attached to the Rural Theater, the Tampere Theater, the Folk Theater and the Finnish National Theater, where he performed over 130 roles in 1923-1960. In addition to the theater career, he starred in more than 30 Finnish films, among others. In the Unrestrained Generation (1937), People in Summer Night (1948), Pastor in Jussi and Red Line.
