His most memorable role is that of Randy Parker (Ralphie's little brother) in the 1983 film A Christmas Story. Petrella currently resides in Los Angeles, California, working on animation and puppetry. During 2010 Christmas Season, Petrella served as special tour guide from November 4th through the first week of January 2011 at A Christmas Story House in Cleveland, Ohio.
