Biography

Edna MacAfee (sometimes credited as Edna Macafee) was a minor character actress and local stage performer best known for her brief film appearances in the early 1970s. She played the role of Agnes Abercrombi, the enigmatic elderly resident (and implied witch) in the 1973 horror film Warlock Moon, directed by William Herbert. In that production, she was cast as a "dignified and aged stage actress" to bring authenticity to the part, and production anecdotes describe her as lively and memorable off-set—such as mistaking a urinal for a purse holder in a restroom, which amused the crew without correction.
