Biography

Eliane Raheb is the director of several award-winning short films and documentaries, including Miguel’s War (2021), which won the Teddy Award for best feature film at the 2021 Berlinale, Those Who Remain (2016), which was among 30 films awarded les Étoiles de la Scam in 2019, and Sleepless Nights (2012), which is currently showing on Netflix. Raheb is a founding member of Beirut DC (since renamed AFLAMUNA), a cultural association that supports and promotes the work of independent filmmakers in Lebanon.
