Biography

Yusif Mansur oghlu Sheykhov (b. February 2, 1951) — Azerbaijani screenwriter, Honored Cultural Worker of Azerbaijan (2000), sector manager of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2018-2021, he worked as a senior specialist at the State Film Fund. Yusif Sheykhov was born on February 2, 1951 in Baku. He graduated from high school number 23 here. He studied at the Petrochemical Institute for two years (1969-1970), and at the Directing faculty of the Art Institute in 1970-1975.
