Biography

Nicolas Chevallier is a French-born visual effects supervisor at Framestore. He studied at Supinfocom Valenciennes, following an early academic interest in thermodynamics and applied physics. Chevallier began his career in the industry in 2001 at BUF Compagnie in Paris. There he worked as a CG artist on films such as The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions before rising to CG supervisor and then visual effects supervisor, contributing to major productions including Batman Begins, Silent Hill and Thor. During his time at BUF, he earned a VES Award nomination for his work on Thor.
