Biography

Adam Paroussos is a composer, sound designer and performer for film and performance. His work investigates the boundaries between composition and sound design, drawing inspiration from the natural world and improvisation. A self-taught composer, working with both experimental and traditional techniques, Adam's process often involves finding musical ideas within mechanical objects, field recordings, tape samples, animals, electronic processing, folk instruments, synthesizers and more.
