Biography

Jeremy Ball is a Canadian visual effects supervisor and filmmaker native of Victoria, British Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pacific & Asian Studies from University of Victoria. He spent more than a decade in the People’s Republic of China. From 2004 to 2007, he completed an Master of Arts degree in Film Studies at the Beijing Film Academy. At the same time, he worked worked in the art and visual effects departments of numerous productions including John Curran's The Painted Veil, Mark Forster's The Kite Runner, and Rob Minkoff's The Forbidden Kingdom.
