Adonis Kyrou was a Greek-born French film director, screenwriter, and critic, known for his work in surrealist cinema and film criticism. Born in Athens, he moved to Paris after World War II, where he became an active member of the surrealist movement and a close associate of filmmaker Luis Buñuel.
